In their one-room school, she and Aunt Belle fought over the pork chop bone. The young teacher\u2014the teachers only stayed until they found husbands\u2014gave them her sandwich to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Uncle John killed mother\u2019s cat as a joke, Uncle Dunk shot John\u2019s dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
